Microsoft office help needed. when i try to open a word document it tells me the file cannot be foun

even though it is definately there and can be opened when i transfer it into the shared file and open it using another pc on the same network, i have tried closing the network and i have tried reinstalling 'word' but nothing seems to be working. also everytime i close microsoft outlook i get a message saying 'the file normal already exists do u want to save it in templates with a different name'. wtf??

maybe wrong but it sounds like you are working with backup copy of the document, not the original. i've had this before but only vaguely remember what it was. Have you tried a search to see how may copies of that file come up?
