Microsoft Word documents based on a template won't print. What's the problem?

I am running Windows 2000 OS.

Any documents that I have based on a new template that I created won't print when using the "File - Print" command in Microsoft Word. If using "File - Print", the PC locks up and MS Word must be closed using the Task Manager.

The document will print, however, if you right-click on the file icon and select print from the drop-down list. But, this doesn't allow for printing of certain pages, etc.

A few notes:

Any other documents on my machine NOT based on this template print fine.

Documents based on this template can't be printed by anyone within my workgroup, and also locks up the PC.

It seems that 3rd parties can print the documents based on the template without issue.

When you created that template, did you by any chance write or install a Visual Basic macro named "FilePrint"? If so, it's overriding the default FilePrint macro and is being called whenever you try to do a File-%26gt;Print menu item. Change the name to something else and the problem will go away.

Hope that's some help.
